Editorial Policy

The editorial policy aimed at ethical norms accepted by the international scientific community.

The editorial board adheres to the basic principles of academic integrity in accordance with the Laws of Ukraine “On Education”  and “On Higher Education”.

The editors check the submitted articles for plagiarism with the help of appropriate software. All manuscripts submitted to the editorial office are checked for uniqueness at the initial review stage using special software, namely: Unicheck and Strike Plagiarism.

The authors are responsible for the accuracy of the information presented in the articles, the accuracy of the names, last names and citations according to the current legislation of Ukraine (Law of Ukraine «On Copyright and Related Rights»).

The expert evaluation process involves bilateral “blind” (double-blind) reviewing where the author and the reviewer did not know each other. The interaction between author and reviewers occurs through the executive secretary of the journal.

All scientific articles submitted to the editorial board, are reviewed on the following basis: an objective assessment of the content of the article, its conformity to actual problems of science and the requirements of the journal; comprehensive analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the article.

Reception of articles is ongoing. For printing are accepted materials that have successfully passed the review stage and received an approved expert opinion.

Publication of articles in the journal is free of charge. The editors do not charge authors any fees for submitting, processing and reviewing materials.

Each publication is approved by the Academic Council of the Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University.

All issues of the publication are archived and stored directly on the website of the journal in the section “Archives” and in the Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine, Kyiv, Ukraine.

In order to improve the scientific image of the journal, the editorial staff welcomes the use in articles of references to the latest publications, which have the DOI identifier and are indexed in the bibliographic databases Scopus and Web of Science.
